Welcome to Project Atlas, where every step is a stride towards change. Join me on a remarkable journey as I embark on a series of twelve expeditionary challenges across the globe, each one symbolizing an aspect of the condition we are rallying to combat. From icy peaks and sun-kissed deserts, to the open ocean and primordial forests. I'll traverse terrains that echo the struggles and triumphs of those affected.
But our ultimate quest lies in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, where we'll stand tall atop the highest peak, a testament to the heights we can reach when we unite for a cause and provide direct "boots on the ground" aid and respite care for the afflicted in the rural mountain communities. With each challenge conquered, we draw closer to our goal, forging a path towards a brighter future.
Welcome to "Project Atlas," where adventure meets compassion in a mission to make a difference. Our charity adventure series not only supports the Huntington's Disease Association but also delivers essential aid relief and respite care directly to those affected by Huntington's Disease in remote mountain communities.
With every step we take and every summit we conquer, we're not just exploring the world; we're extending a helping hand to those in need, providing hope, support, and a brighter future. Join us on this journey of adventure and altruism, where every adventure counts.
From navigating the white water and cave systems of France and Croatia to braving the scorching desert sun in Jordan, every step of the way promises heart-pounding excitement.
Join me as I navigate the treacherous ocean currents around Iceland, delve into the primordial forests of Bosnia & Herzegovina, traverse the icy glaciers of the Arctic Circle and so many more places besides, staying tuned for updates on our schedule as I embark on these epic adventures in pushing boundaries and making a difference for those affected by Huntington's disease along the way.
Huntington's disease has a deep and personal significance in my life. It is a silent but ever-present specter that casts a shadow over our family. My grandad was one of the first to be diagnosed and after him my Uncle's diagnosis followed suit. I remember the confusion and fear in our home as they battled the relentless progression of the disease. The once-vibrant men who had lived lives full of adventure were condemned to a world of turmoil.
This condition can be found around the world, which is why I'm taking the fight to where it's needed and support isn't readily or easily available, in the remotest mountain communities.
Follow my adventures as I take on these challenges and take a look at my Expedition and Adventure artwork that comes from this journey in the fight against Huntington's Disease.
